El Taller Gallery is celebrating its 28th Anniversary!

June 1st - August 31st

Admission is Free

El Taller Gallery has the distinction of being conceptualized and promoted by Hispanic owners. Both Olga Pina and Amado Pena hailed from the South Texas town of Laredo. Amado Pena opened El Taller Gallery on Sixth Street in 1980. Olga Pina became the owner in 1991.

Famed for his images of the Chicano Art of the 70s and continuing his artistic evolution in the Southwest, Amado Maurilio Pena remains one of this gallery's premier artists.

Olga Pina, owner, has been a Pena collector for over 30 years. Her art collection remains unparallelled as she has selected rare works of art created by Amado Pena. since the early 60s. With a careful and deliberate sense of the uniqueness in his art, she has also been instrumental in promoting the stories behind the art. Armed with an incredible storehouse of knowledge and passion, as well as an appreciation of his talent and his work, a visit to the gallery will bring you back for more.

The gallery will exhibit a special selection of Pena's work through the summer. Beautiful and unique serigraphs, etchings, and lithographs, both framed and unframed will be offered in this unique opportunity.
These pieces belong to an avid collector of Pena's work and being that his inventory is vast, he has selected El Taller Gallery as the premier gallery to handle this rare and seldom-seen sale.

Don't miss this, as this will not be repeated...Walk away with a treasure!
